New Personal Independance Payment (PIP) rates from April 2024

 DWP has announced a 6.7% increase in PIP rates for the next financial year, starting on April 8, 2024. As PIP is paid every four weeks, claimants can expect this rise at the end of their first four-week pay cycle after that date.

The new weekly rates for PIP from April 2024:

Standard Daily Living Component:

·        Weekly: £72.65

·        Monthly: £290.60

·        Annually: £3,777.80

Enhanced Daily Living Component:

·        Weekly: £108.55

·        Monthly: £434.20

·        Annually: £5,644.60

Standard Mobility Component:

·        Weekly: £28.70

·        Monthly: £114.80

·        Annually: £1,492.40

Enhanced Mobility Component:

·        Weekly: £75.75

·        Monthly: £303

·        Annually: £3,939

Standard Daily Living Plus Standard Mobility:

·        Weekly: £101.35

·        Monthly: £405

 

The Government has said that these adjustments aim to provide essential financial support to those who rely on PIP.
