Friday 11th August
We are having a charity coffee morning at the Charles Booth Centre in Thringstone.
All proceeds go towards Fibromalgia Friends Together.
Thursday 17th August
At our regular meet-up we have an Assistance Dog Demonstration by Canine Partners.
Sunday 20th August
We have a Fibromyalgia Awareness Stall at the Ibstock Country Fair at the showground, Ibstock. Please come along and see us if you want any information or support.
Bank Holiday Monday 28th August
Another outdoor Awareness Stall, this time at the Shepshed Lions Club Carnival, Glenmore Park in Shepshed, LE12 9AE.
Saturday 16th September
Sponsored walk for Fibromyalgia for all ages and abilities (suitable for wheelchair users).
The walk will start from Ibstock Town Cricket Club at 12 o’clock to Sence Valley Forest Park on the outskirts of the village and back.
You choose how far to walk depending on how you feel on the day.
Tuesday 3rd October
We have organised a canal trip with the Peter Le Marchant Trust based in Loughborough from the Canalside Moorings, Beeches Road, Loughborough, LE11 2NS to Mountsorrel and back.
Stopping for lunch at the Waterside Inn Mountsorrel.
The trip starts at 9:30am till approximately 3pm.
The cost of the trip is £14 per person plus your lunch.
